Job Description:
Sales Administrator based in Rotherham - £18,000 - Permanent & full time!

The company focus on industrial waste recycling and the supply of bulk raw minerals, metals and fuels into heavy industry. Following a number of successful and exciting years which have seen growth in turnover from £2.5m to over £20m, we are looking for new team members to join our team and help support our ongoing development.

We are currently looking for a Sales Administrator. You will be responsible for the organisation of the sales inventories and specifications of the products and materials sold. Working with the directors and line managers to develop organisational systems, such as stock control spreadsheets. You may be required to serve as a point of contact for customers with queries about products, delivery schedules and provide support for the directors and Industrial line managers.

Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and able to use their own initiative whilst being willing to learn. If you have good organisational skills and draw energy from being part of a team, we would like to meet you.

Ultimately, you should be organised and able to use your own initiative.

Responsibilities
o Work with the team to ensure our important industrial customers receive the high standard of service we pride ourselves upon
o Contact clients to obtain missing information or answer queries
o Liaise with the Logistics department to ensure timely deliveries
o Maintain and update sales and customer records
o Develop monthly sales reports
o Communicate important feedback from customers internally
o Ensure delivery schedules are met and report any deviations
o Stay up-to-date with new materials and monitor material quality

Requirements
o Proven work experience as a Sales administrator or Sales support agent would be beneficial
o Hands on experience with Microsoft Office (MS Excel in particular)
o A basic knowledge of steel, cement, coal and or quarrying industries would be a benefit, but equally important is a keen willingness to learn.
o Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
o A team player with high level of dedication

Salary circa £18k

21 days holiday per year (plus stats), an extra day per year up to 5 max for every year served.
