Job Description:
EXPANDING BUSINESS looking for a FREELANCE TRAINER for the construction industry - salary £150 per day + expenses area to cover MIDLANDS
To provide expert teaching and learning across the adult learning provision
The role would also involve working with the Head of Pre-Employment Training to develop and deliver the highest level of quality for learners.
The post holder would deliver an outstanding learning experience
1. Delivering construction and employability training to groups learners working towards an accredited qualification.
2. Identify learner's strengths and weakness' through initial assessment and support them accordingly
3. The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
4. The successful candidate must be engaging and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate / train learners in order to help them realise their potential.
5. As part of the Employability delivery you will be required to assist learners with CV writing, job search, interview techniques, confidence building and deliver advice and guidance to enable learners to make informed decisions about their future goals
6. You will follow TLA plans but have the flair to make them your own, and deliver encouraging, nurturing and motivating training.
Learners Support
1. Work with individuals and or groups of learners who require additional support both in classroom-based activities and in the community.
2. Support learners to improve their everyday maths, English and ICT skills.
3. Devise flexible and innovative ways to engage individual learners with support from colleagues.
4. To provide quality careers/employability support and embedded information, advice and guidance to learners.
5. Implement strategies and support learners in self-esteem and confidence building activities
6. Drawing up agreed action plans with learners, outlining the aims of the
7. programme, and monitoring their progress

Record keeping:
1. Ensure records of support provided are maintained
2. Accurately record daily learner attendance

Communication and general administration:
1. Take responsibility for Health & Safety, Equality & Diversity, Data Protection and Safeguarding. The post holder will also comply with all information and training supplied and discuss any concerns with their Line Manager.
2. Attend and contribute to regular whole staff and learning support team meetings.

Experience needed:
A minimum of 3 years industry experience, experience of delivering CSCS training, excellent working knowledge of the construction industry, minimum of level 3 Award in Education & training (PTLLS) level 2 English & Maths, A Level 3 qualification in Health & Safety & recognised level 3 qualification in the construction & built industry
