Job Description:
Do you have experience of delivering technical training in Data, Data Analytics, Software Development & IT?

Currently I am seeking an experienced Data Trainer to deliver training & mentoring to learners who are enrolled upon local unique digital skills initiative. You will be responsible for the creation and delivery of innovative, approachable training in Data and Software development for learners & workers age 19+.You will work alongside our Curriculum Director to create engaging content for our learners and then bring it to life.

Data Trainer Duties:
" To ensure that programme content is regularly reviewed and updated. Ensuring the curriculum is developed to provide learners with access to the skills necessary to support their achievement and goals
" To provide effective support to learners when accessing blended learning via online platforms
" To manage resources in collaboration with the key stakeholders, including the deployment of resources required for effective and innovative curriculum delivery
" To ensure that success rates on courses are maintained above national benchmarks and that there is continuous improvement in success rates
" To support the development of new approaches to teaching and learning in line with national developments and the needs of learners
" To provide professional and high quality training as part of our digital skills programmes via our SMART Classrooms
" Responsible for the delivery of the programme to the agreed schedule and standards
" Coach and mentor the learners to enable them to achieve their full potential
" To manage all uploaded leaner work within the agreed timeframes and ensure learner file naming conventions and storage processes are followed
" To maintain and update own knowledge, skills and occupational competence as required by the funding bodies
" To support the promotion and growth of apprenticeships throughout the programmes
" Marking and assessment of assignments/learner work and managing any re-work of assignments
" Achieve consistently "Good" or "Outstanding" observation grades
" Achieve departmental learner feedback scores
" To support change, development and opportunities within the department in order to support growth within the organisation

Essential Skills and Experience:
" Technical knowledge and understanding in Data & Data Analytics and Software Development
" Relevant experience of delivering technical training in Data, Data Analytics, Software Development & IT
" An ability to create engaging learning materials suitable for SMART classroom delivery
" Hold relevant teaching qualification
" Technical Knowledge and Understanding in Data, Data Analytics, Software Development & IT
" A passion for training/coaching.
" Excellent verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate clearly and explain technical concepts in an easy to understand manner
" Strong interpersonal skills - with the ability to build relationships, rapport and a strong understanding with each learner
" An ability to encourage and motivate others with a proven track record of exam success rates for

Desirable Skills and Experience:
o Understanding of Apprenticeships
o Hold vendor exams in the relevant discipline
o Good understanding of our company values and people behaviours
Location: Home Based
DBS Check Required: Yes
Contract: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: Up to £55,000.00 per annum (depending on experience)
