Learner Engagement Advisor

The main role of the Learner Engagement Advisor is to source and qualify prospective candidates and book them onto our apprenticeship and pre-employment training courses.
The key responsibilities for this role are:
" To source and interview potential candidates both face to face and by telephone
" Determine eligibility and suitability for the relevant apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship opportunities
" To support activity towards candidate and employer engagement, as required.
" To maintain regular contact with Head of Apprenticeships regarding activity levels, candidate enquiries and progress against targets
" Active caseload management with BDMs within the business to ease the transition from pre-apprenticeship course to apprenticeship
" To ensure that selected applicants without a link to an employer are prepared for pre-apprenticeship course where high-quality CVs and Employability Skills will be developed
" Manage relationships with key suppliers, referral partners and organisations locally to generate the maximum number of candidate referrals wherever possible
" To ensure the candidate recruitment process is followed to guarantee a high-quality recruitment experience
" To deliver outstanding Information, Advice and Guidance to both internal and external customers and to meet this grade in observations
" To attend learner, recruitment and marketing events to fill courses, build pipeline and candidate pool.
" Actively promote the company in the local community.
" Build and maintain strong working relationships with key suppliers, referral partners and organisations locally to generate the maximum number of candidate referrals wherever possible
The key KPIs for this role are:
" A minimum of 10 pre-apprenticeship applicant offers to be made per week
" Engagement Plan - minimum 3 engagement activities a week - (to support in generation of applicant numbers - this should be increased if application numbers are low and KPIs are not being met).
" Daily conversations with BDMs to ensure all apprenticeship ready candidates and vacancies are correctly matched and managed.
" Minimum of 15 apprenticeship ready candidates in live pool at all times.
" 20 candidates to be booked on to pre-apprenticeship course per month
" A 60% progression rate from pre-apprenticeship course to applicant pool with 40% progression into apprenticeship.
" To deliver excellence in quality measured by
o Attendance > 90%
o Success rates (timely)
o Success rates (overall)
o Apprentice survey outcomes
o Employer survey outcomes
" Excellent communication and listening skills
" Previous recruitment and networking experience
" Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
" Team player
